The tiles can easily be cut to shape and can even be used in situations where conventional decking would not be suitable such as balconies and roof gardens, or where to install a conventional deck would mean the removal/digging up of the existing surface to accommodate the decking joists.

The design of the modular polypropylene base allows the tiles to be laid quickly and securely, whilst providing flexibility to accommodate slight variations in the existing surface as well as allowing excellent drainage.

These tiles can be installed along any visible edges or corners (i.e. tiles not fitting flush to boundary walls), hiding the base from view and allowing for a clean finished installation.

Eco Decking and the environment — We use only genuine, ecologically certified Hardwoods for our tiles, Ipe, an incredibly strong, durable, richly grained timber.

These are accredited by the Bolivian Government's 'Sustainable Forestry Development' Programme; which ensures the timber comes from responsibly managed sources.

In addition, these dense and durable hardwoods are not treated with any chemical preservatives.

Ipe wood typically grows in South Central America in a wide variety of sites, in marches and riverbanks as well as ridge tops, Ipe trees may grow up to 150 feet and a trunk diameter of 6 feet. It is one of the tallest trees in South America. It is typically a reddish brown colour with light dark brown flecks, it has limited warp characteristics. It contains no harmfull chemicals so it can be used near water without potential contamination
