Vanilla wood floors has added an additional wood floor adhesive to its portfolio Elka Adhesives. ElkaBond comes in three formats;

1. Elkabond MSP Trowel Adhesive

2. Elkabond MSP Flex 600 cc sauasges.

3. ElkaDIYFlex 290ml Cartridge

All three products are suitable for Solid and Engineered floors.

1.  The Elakbond MSP Trowel adhesive is a high specification, trowel applied adhesive, specifically designed for fixing all types of wooden floors directly onto all common subfloors, eliminating the need for batterns. It is based on the latest developments in hybrid technology and has the following key benifits;

100%active, solvent and water free, will not cause warpage or curl of wood blocks/ planks, Permanently flexable- compensates for wood & subfloor movement, Will bond wood directly to all common subfloors, concrete, wood, metal, ceramic tiles, vinyl, marble, granite and most natural stone floors, Suitable for all underfloor heating systems, Low Odour, Excellent gap filling properties for uneven surfaces, Full bed elastic product gives excellent sound deadening/ acoustic properties.

2. The Elkabond MSP Flex is a high specification foil packed adhesive, spercifically designed for fixing all types of wooden floors directly onto all common substrates. Elkabond MSP Flex removes the requirement of traditional mechanical fixing methods such as screws and pins thereby greatly reducing fixing time and cost. Elkabond elastormeric properties allow for thermal movement and helps reduce the causes of floor squeak. Elkabond MSP Flex also has excellent resistance to water, temperatures and ageing. The following key benifits are;

3. The ElkaFlex 290ml cartridge can be used with a standard mastic gun, permanently flexable compensates for wood and subfloor movement, will bond wood floor directly to al common subfloors eg concrete etc, suitable for underfloor heating systems, low odour excellent gap filling prperties for uneven surfaces, excellent sound reduction properties, clean and easy to use, no mixing. Coverage bead of adhesive at 45 o angle will cover approx 1.5m2 per 290ml cartridge, a 10mm bead of adhesive will cover approx 1m2

The Elkabond adhesives can be used on all Vanilla solid wood floor solid and Engineered wood floor products.
