Samples

Samples are only sent out to customers as a class of goods without any guarantee as to the size, colour or quality of the goods. VWF will endeavour to comply with any samples, but it is under no liability for failure to comply as aforesaid or for failure to provide the size or colour or quality selected and any sale of goods shall not be by reference to such samples.Each customer is allowed two free samples.

Purchasing the Goods

Simply look at the product lines available, click on a particular product and if you wish to purchase, select the item, the quantity and put them in the shopping basket, follow the instructions. The shopping basket will remember your order.

Price and Payment

The price of the goods shall be as published in our price list current at the date of delivery of the goods. The price is exclusive of VAT, which shall be due at the rate ruling on the date of a VAT invoice, all goods are to be paid for at the time of ordering.

Prices listed or quoted are based on costs prevailing at the time when they are given or agreed. We shall be entitled to adjust the price of the goods as at the time of delivery by such amount as may be necessary to cover any increase sustained by us after the date of acceptance of your order and any direct or indirect costs of making, obtaining, handling or supplying the goods.

Prices listed or quoted are applicable to the quantity specified and on the information provided by you at the time of order. In the event of orders being placed for lesser quantities or if there is any change in specifications, delivery dates, or delay is caused by your instructions or lack of instructions we shall be entitled to adjust the price of the goods ordered to take account of the variations.

Delivery

Unless you tell us you wish to collect the goods, we will deliver the goods in accordance as per the order. If the order is not stocked or unavailable for immediate delivery, we will call or email you to advise. In normal circumstances we would expect delivery to you, within 1-5 working days of you placing the order.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the goods for damage or wrong delivery before accepting the delivery. No claim for damages or wrong delivery can be made if the carrier’s receipt is signed as goods received in good condition. Any claim for damages or wrong delivery must be made to VWF within 5 working days of the receipt.

Cancellation and returns

All goods should be inspected immediately upon delivery and any discrepancies, defects or damages should be written on the delivery note and reported to the company within 2 working days of receipt of the goods. If you intend cancelling your order and return non-faulty goods, please advice us in writing by way of email, post or fax within 5 working days of receipt.  Returned goods must be in the unopened original packaging and in undamaged condition. We will arrange for collection and a full refund (minus the cost of delivery and collection) on receipt and inspection at our facilities or within 30 days of receiving your notice of cancellation.Some of our products are offered with Free delivery, but on cancellation the outward and inward return cost will be deducted from the refund.  Returns are permitted within 7 days of purchase under the consumer protection (distance selling) regulations 2000. If a card is left by the Courier due to client not available it is percieved as a delivery and clients will be charged accordingly.

Credit Card Security

Vanilla Wood Floors uses the most up to date secure web server and system namely Barclaycard.

A high level of encryption is used - 128 bit SSL encryption. Even if you only have a 40 bit SSL capable PC, you are automatically upgraded to a connection with a higher encryption.

Barclaycard take responsibility for capturing and storing card details on their secure server and the information is held with the high level of security you would expect from a major financial services company. All transaction data is stored on Barclaycard's servers, so we do not have to have secure server certificates.

For your own safety we recommend that you read carefully any safety instructions printed on packaging plus any safety leaflets and or literature that may be provided with your product prior to you carrying out any DIY projects or make use of the products supplied by us.
